- Polysensory- visual + kinestetic senses wil provide atthlete w most useful feedback
- Controlability- ability to imagine exactally what is inteded
- Vividness- how clear the image is (more senses=beter)
Effects of imagery pre injury/onset/rehab
pre- stress management, enhances relaxation
onset- knowledge of pot. outcome, maintainence of attitude
rehab- decrease negative thoughts, performance modeling, specific healing imagery
