Standby boost pumps - off: fuel press light illuminates
Current limiter check
One generator - turn off either L or R
L & R Volt/Loadmeters - normal
28 Volts on both load meters - normal
Less than 28 volts on any load meter - failed current limiter

Oil temperature and oil pressure gages (failed side) - Monitor
Crossfeed (one engine inop)
Crossfeed - L or R (FUEL CROSSFEED) - Illuminated
Standby pumps - off
Aux tank transfer - auto
Fuel balance - monitor
if fuel is required from the inop engines aux tank and reason for shutdown is not engine fire or fuel leak:
Firewall shutoff valve - Open (FUEL PRESS) Extinguished
No transfer light (inop engine) - extinguished in 30-50 seconds
to discontinue crossfeed
Crossfeed flow switch - off (centered)
Aux fuel transfer failure (no transfer annunciation)
Aux tank transfer - override

Aux fuel - monitor
Aux tank transfer - auto (when aux tank is empty)
Fuel system check - with battery on
Firewall shutoff valve - Close
Standby pumps - on (listen for operation, both FUEL PRESS lights illuminate)
Firewall shutoff valves - open (both FUEL PRESS lights extinguished)
Standby pumps - off (both FUEL PRESS lights illuminated)
Crossfeed - L then R while verifying FUEL CROSSFEED light illuminates & FUEL PRESS light extinguishes
Crossfeed- Off
Aux tank transfer - auto
No transfer light - press to test
Engine Failure - Emergency engine shutdown
*Proceed with this checklist for:

Operative engine - max reverse
*If insufficient runway remains for stopping
Condition levers - fuel cutoff
Firewall shutoff valve - closed
Master switch - off (gang bar down)
Engine failure after lift off
Maintain directional control, pitch attitude, airspeed (121 Kts)
Power - max allowable
Landing gear - up
*if autofeather installed & being used, do not retard power lever of failed engine until the autofeather system has completely stopped prop rotation
Propeller - feather manually or autofeather
Flaps - up
*Inop engine side* Condition lever - fuel cutoff Propeller lever - feather Firewall shutoff valve - closed Auto ignition - off Autofeather- off Generator- off Electrical load - monitor
Engine failure in flight below Vmc
Power - reduce as required to maintain directional control
Nose - lower to accelerate above Vmc
Power - as required
Failed engine - secure (see emergency engine shutdown)
Engine flameout (2nd engine aka both engine fails & this is the 2nd one to fail)
Power lever - idle
Propeller lever - do not feather
Condition lever - fuel cutoff
Conduct air start procedures
Engine out glide
Landing gear - up
Flaps - up

Airspeed - 135 knots
Glide ratio is 2nm per 1,000 feet of altitude
Air start procedures (Starter assist)
- do not attempt air starts if N1 indicates zero
- above 20,000 feet, starts get a lot hotter. It may be necessary to move condition lever into cutoff in order to avoid an over temperature condition
Cabin temp mode - off Vent blower - auto Aft blower (if installed) - off Radar - standby or off Windshield heat - off Power lever - idle Prop lever (inoperative engine) - Low rpm Condition lever - fuel cutoff Firewall shutoff valve - open Generator (inop engine) - off
*If conditions permit, retard operative engine ITT to 700 degrees or less to reduce the possibility of exceeding ITT limit - reduce electrical load to minimum consistent with flight conditions

What oil pressure values are undesirable and should on be tolerated for the completion of the flight?
How should the engine be operated in this case?
What limits requires the engine to be shut down or a landing made at the nearest airport?
60-85PSI
Reduced power setting to not exceed 1,100 lbs of torque
Oil pressure values below 60PSI
If the CHIP DETECTOR annunciation illuminates what should you do?
Monitor the engine, if it’s performing normal just continue at discretion.
If the engine parameters become abnormal, shutdown is at pilot discretion and land ASAP.
