Wheel Brakes - APPLY
Spoilers - EXTEND
Engine Failure During Takeoff (Above V1)

Rudders & Ailerons - AS REQUIRED
Accelerate to Vr, keep nose wheel on runway
Rotate at Vr, climb at V2
Positive Rate of Climb - GEAR UP
Clear of Obstacles - V2 + 30 FLAPS UP
Engine Failure During Approach (4)
Control Wheel Master Switch (MSW) - DEPRESS
Thrust Lever (operative engine) - INCREASE (As Required)
Flaps - 20° MAX
Airspeed - VREF + 10 MIN
Engine Fire - Shut Down (4)
-Affected Engine - IDLE, UNLESS A CRITICAL THRUST SITUATION EXISTS
If fire continues more than 15 seconds, or there are other indications of fire:
- Thrust Lever - CUTOFF
- Engine Fire Handle - PULL
- ARMED Light - DEPRESS ONE
CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING HORN ACTIVATES OR CABIN ALTITUDE EXCEED 10,000 FEET (EMERGENCY DESCENT)

Crew Oxy Masks - DON & SELECT 100%
Thrust Levers - IDLE
Autopilot - DISENGAGE
Spoilers - EXTEND
LANDING GEAR ( Below Mmo or Vle) - DOWN
Descend at Mmo/Vle, but not below MSA
PASS OXY Valve - NORM
PASS MASK Valve - MAN
Cabin/Cockpit FIRE, SMOKE, or FUMES

Crew Oxygen Masks - DON & SELECT 100%
Smoke Goggles - DON, IF AVAILABLE
OXY-MIC Switches - ON
Overspeed Recovery
Overspeed Warning Horn Activates

Thrust Levers - IDLE
Autopilot - DISENGAGE
Identify Pitch & Roll Attitude
Level Wings
Elevator and Pitch Trim - NOSE UP AS REQ’D
If Mach or airspeed is severe or if pitch and/or roll attitude is extreme or unknown:
Landing Gear - DOWN, DO NOT RETRACT LANDING GEAR
Pitch Axis Malfunction (6)
Control Wheel Master Switch (MSW) - DEPRESS & HOLD
Attitude Control - AS REQ’D
Thrust Levers:
If High Speed Nose-Down - IDLE
If near stall - INCREASE AS REQ’D
Both Stall Warning Switches - OFF
Pitch Trim Switch - OFF
Autopilot Switch - OFF
Roll or Yaw Axis Malfunction (4)
Control Wheel Master Switch - DEPRESS
Attitude Control - AS REQ’D
If control force continues:
Airspeed - REDUCE
Affected Axis Trim CB - ROLL TRIM or YAW TRIM (pilot’s ess bus) - PULL
Emergency Braking (2)
Emergency Brake Handle - PULL OUT
Emergency Brake Handle - PUSH DOWNWARD
Emergency Evacuation (8)
If an engine fire is suspected:
If engine fire is not suspected:
Stop The Aircraft
Parking Brake - SET
Thrust Levers - CUTOFF
If an engine fire is suspected:
Applicable engine fire pull handle - PULL
ARMED Light - DEPRESS ONE
Other engine fire pull handle - PULL
If engine fire is not suspected:
Both engine fire pull handles - PULL
Batteries - OFF
Stall Warning Activates (4)
Lower Pitch Attitude to reduce Angle of Attack
Thrust Levers - Takeoff Power
Level Wings
Accelerate out of Stall condition
Aborted Takeoff
Thrust Levers - IDLE
Wheel Brakes - APPLY
Spoilers - EXTEND
Inadvertent Thrust Reverser Deployment During Takeoff
Thrust Levers - IDLE
Wheel Brakes - APPLY
Spoilers - EXTEND
Indication of Thrust Reverser Deployment During Takeoff
