• Age= childbearing yrs
• LOA= n/a
• HR= n/a
• RR= n/a
• SBP= <160 mmHg
• Other= Postpartum delivery AND Placental delivery

Question 3

What are the contraindications oxytocin?

Answer 3

• Allergy or sensitivity to oxytocin
• Undelivered fetus
• Suspected or known pre-eclampsia with current pregnancy
• Eclampsia (seizures) with current pregnancy
• > 4 hrs post placenta delivery
