Thrust Levers - Idle
Wheel Brakes - Max Braking
T/R - As Req’d
Ground Spoilers - Verify Extended
When stopped:
Tower - Notify
Passengers - Advise/Evacuate as Necessary
Engine failure during takeoff above V1
Thrust - Max
APR - Verify ON (Press APR button, if required)
After positive rate:
Gear - Up
Airspeed - V2 to V2+10
At 1500’
Airspeed - V2 + 15
Flaps - Up
Airspeed - Accelerate to VSE
Operating engine - Adjust thrust as necessary
Failed engine thrust lever - Idle
Failed engine fuel control - off
Failed engine bleed air - off
Fuel balance - monitor
Affected side Hydraulic EMP - Verify ON
TCAS - TA Only
Consider APU start as backup for electrical power

L Engine (C) or R Engine (C) warning msg
Affected engine - identify and confirm
Unaffected engine thrust lever - set climb
Affected engine thrust lever - Idle
Affected engine parameter - monitor
*A/TR will disengage. Possible to re-engage and use A/TR in SE operation

TO/GA Button - Select
Thrust lever - Max Thrust (Verify APR)
Airspeed - VREF
Flaps - 20
Positive rate:
Gear - Up
Safe Altitude
Airspeed - VREF + 20
Flaps - Up
Airspeed - VREF + 30
Thrust - As Req’d
Dual Engine Fail
L-R Engine Fail (C) msg
Divert to nearest landing site
Oxygen - Don, 100%
Crew communication - Establish
Pax O2 - Manual deploy
Airspeed - Vmo/.77m until with air start envelope and cabin altitude below 15,000’
Inhibit R CDU tuning
Transponder - ATC 2, 7700
ATC - Emergency
Hydraulic EMPs - Off and NOT Arm (use is limited to 4 mins)
Engine Gen’s - off
Both Engine bleed air - off
If stay failed:
Fuel controls - Off
Stby pumps - Off NOT Arm (use is limited to 11 mins)
Engine Oil Pressure Low
CAS msg
Affected engine - Idle
Affected engine oil temp - monitor
If msg goes out, pressure/temp returns to normal limits:
Land at nearest airport
Thrust reverser unlock or deployed during takeoff
Below V1:
Abort takeoff
Above V1:
Affected engine thrust lever - idle
Affected thrust reverser lever - verify stowed
Unaffected engine thrust - APR/Verify APR ON
Autothrottles - Disconnect
At Vr - Rotate
Positive rate - gear up
Speed - don’t exceed 200kts
*Note: only shut down engine if reverser will not Stow and if required to maintain level flight and above 400 feet AGL
Affected engine - identify and confirm
Affected thrust lever - idle
Affected engine fuel control - off
Affected engine bleed air - off
Land ASAP
Engine Fire on ground
Aircraft - Stop
Park Brake - set
Thrust levers - idle
Fuel controls - off
Affected engine - identify/verify
Affected engine fire handle - pull, rotate to discharge fire bottle 1 (outboard)
*30 secs min between each discharge
APU Master - off
Emergency evacuation
*if persist more than 30 secs:
Fire handle: Rotate to discharge 2
Batteries - OFF
STBY Battery - OFF
Engine fire in flight
Affected engine - identify/confirm
Affected engine thrust lever - idle
Affected engine fuel control - off
Affected engine fire handle - pull
Time hack - 10 secs
- if far is extinguished and no fire system failures are annunciated continue to step 8
- Engine fire handle - rotate to discharge 1 (outboard)
*30 seconds between each discharge - Affected engine fire handle - discharge 2

Automatic shutdown expected
APU fire - press
*note: arm/empty illuminates green
If fire persists:
APU Bleed - off
APU RPM below 5%:
APU Master - Off
Land asap
Interior Fire
Crew O2/Smoke Goggles - Don, 100%
Crew communication - establish
No smoke/seat belt - on
Pax O2 - Bypass confirm dropped for each pax, inform to don O2
Dump - On
*Cabin Alt Hi will illuminate if cabin gets above 10,000
ATC - Declare Emergency
Transponder - 7700
Utilities - All off
*if flight level not critical:
Emergency Descent - Begin
Stall Recovery
Thrust - Max
Pitch - Decrease (consider ground proximity)
Speed brakes - verify retracted
Roll attitude - Level
*If flaps are LND
Flaps - 20
*After airspeed increase and stall warning extinguished
Pitch - as desired
Thrust - as desired
Fuel Leak
Diversion - ?
Fuel Jett - Verify Off
Fuel XFLOW - Close
Fuel Interconnect - Close
Fuel Pressure Low
Red annunciation = Fuel pressure low when above 25,250’
Amber annunciation = Fuel pressure low when below 25,250’
Affected side standby pump - On
*if message stays:
Affected side thrust lever - idle
Descend to FL250 or below to prevent flameout
Land ASAP
