Simultaneously:
Thrust Levers - IDLE
MAXIMUM BRAKES
Ground A/B Switch -ON
REVERSE THRUST
INADVERTENT THRUST REVERSER DEPLOYMENT (BELOW V1)
ABORT / ABORT / ABORT
INADVERTENT THRUST REVERSER DEPLOYMENT DURING FLIGHT
TAKE IMMEDIATE COMMAND
ENGINE FAILURE DURING TAKEOFF (ABOVE V1)
Thrust Levers -CHECK T/O Thrust
APR - CHECK ON
Gear - UP
ACCELERATE TO V2 (FLC / Speed Select V2)
Maintain V2 until 400’ AGL and Clear of Obstacles: Check HDG or NAV Speed Select Vfs)
At V2 +10 - FLAPS UP / SLATS DOWN
At Final Segment Climb Speed - SLATS UP
CONTINUE CLIMB
FAILURE OF BOTH ENGINES
Avionics Master Switches - OFF
AC Control Switches - ALT
PERFORM Air-Start Procedures
If Air-Start Procedure is Unsuccessful - SET UP for an EMERGENCY LANDING
ENGINE FIRE LIGHT ON DURING FLIGHT
Thrust Lever - IDLE
If FIRE indications persist:
Thrust Lever - CUTOFF
FIRE Pushbutton - PRESS, Check both ARM annunciators illuminate
Wait at least 5 seconds:
If FIRE warning annunciator remains on: ARM Pushbutton - PRESS, Check that the ARM light goes out and EMPTY light illuminates
ENGINE FIRE LIGHT ON GROUND
Affected Thrust Lever - CUTOFF
FIRE Pushbutton - PRESS
ENGINE OVERHT LIGHT ON GROUND
Affected Thrust Lever - CUTOFF
OVRHT Pushbutton - PRESS, Check both ARM lights illuminate
Start Switch - Select START and motor the engine until OVERHT annunciator is out or 15 seconds whichever occurs first
SMOKE / FUME REMOVAL
Crew Oxygen Masks - DON / 100% / CHECKED
Smoke Goggles - ON / VENT VALVES OPEN / EMER ON
Crew Communications - ESTABLISH (H/MIC, MASK, BOTH)
Descend at NORMAL RATE
CABIN DUMP pushbutton - PRESS ON
RAPID DECOMPRESSION
Oxygen Masks - DON / 100% / CHECKED
Crew Communications -ESTABLISHED (HMIC,MASK,BOTH)
CABIN DUMP pushbutton - CHECK OFF
ECS - CHECK BOTH ENGINES
Cabin Altitude/Differential Pressure - CHECK
EMERGENCY DESCENT
Autopilot - DISENGAGE
Thrust Levers - IDLE
Flight A/B Switch - EXTEND
Descent Speed - Mmo/Vmo
SINGLE ENGINE GO-AROUND
Thrust Lever - T/O THRUST
Simultaneously Press GA button and maintain a minimum of 9 degrees
T/R’s - OFF
Ground A/B - OFF
Check - FlLAPS 20
Positive Climb - GEAR UP / FLC SPEED SELECT Vref +5 / Vapp)
At 400’ AGL or Clear of Obstacles: NAV SOURCE FMS / HDG or NAV / SPEED SELECT FINAL SEGMENT CLIMB SPEED Vfs
At Vref +10 - FLAPS UP
At Final Segment Speed - SLATS UP
CONTINUE CLIMB
FAN BLADE FAILURE
Affected Engine - IDENTIFY
Thrust Lever - IDLE
