Spin Recovery

A

Rudder - Full opposite direction of rotation
Control Wheel - Full FWD while neutralizing ailerons
Throttle - IDLE

Rudder - Neutral when rotation stops
Control Wheel - Smooth back pressure to recover from dive
Throttle - As Required

Bank - 45 deg (to greatly decrease vertical lift component to help you get down to the ground)

Rollout - Pilot option

A

By 1,500’ AGL!!

  • Teaching point, want to make power off landing as close as possible to a normal landing. Rollout 1000’ abeam landing area
