A

Apparent EFIS Failures where all IDUs appear to go blank may be the result of inadvertent operation of the DAY / NIGHT switch to NIGHT or the LIGHTS INSTR CB tripping and causing the IDUs to go to minimum brightness. A key indicator of this condition is the UHF frequencies remain visible. Recover the IDUs by selecting DAY or by turning the brightness up using the IDU dimmers.
