Ella w6 - (generalisability) Facial Expression Flashcards
What is needed for facial expressions to be considered generaliable?
For facial expressions to be generalisable they must be expressed and perceived the same way across people and situations.
Why has the study of blind people been cited as evidence of generalisability ?

How was the study conducted with the Hima people?
The emotional expressions of the Hima people were compared to Americans.
Against
Why are Hima people useful for studying generalisability ?

Against
What two tasks were used in the Hima research ?
Free labelling and anchored sorting
Against
