Q

Explain why the health and safety policy of two organisations, both undertaking similar work, might be different

A

The health and safety policies may be different because the policy is a reflection of the particular circumstances of each organisation. So any variations in size, nature and organisation of operations, etc. will mean that the health and safety policies will also vary. It may also be the case that senior managers may have very different visions for the future health and safety performance of their organisations.
