Used for officer safety. They transmit real-time conversation as it is taking place.
What is a body worn recorder?
Used for evidence gathering.
What are the two types of GPS trackers?
Memory trackers
Live Trackers

What is Electronic Countermeasures?
Devices purchased by the “bad guy” to detect or thwart electronic surveillance.
What are some examples of electronic countermeasures.
RF Detectors (alert on RF ex: beep, light or vibration) Scanners (will lock on RF signal and audio from the device will be audible)
Camera Detectors
RF jammers
Within how many days of termination are “Reports of Use” forwarded to agencies headquarters?
30 days.
Who determines the disposition of electronic surveillance products?
Your Agency
