No - it is still powering the main busses, and the external power is powering the other buses; until the APU is turned off, of course.
With no APU and using Aft external power, which engine must you start and how many starters are used?
Right, and just one.
Can you start engines using just forward power?
Yes but not recommended due load shedding requiring much resetting
