Q

What is the effect of adding more bulbs or cells to a series circuit

A

More bulbs- each one gets dimmer as they have to share the current

More cells- each bulb gets brighter

Q

For a series circuit with a 6V battery with a 2A current connected to 2 identical bulbs, describe the:
• Voltage across each bulb
• Current through each bulb

A
  • Voltage - 3V across each bulb

Q

How does a fuse keep us safe

A

It keeps the current at a stable level and helps prevent fires. It melts when too much current flows and breaks the circuit.
