Q

Nuclear Energy Mechanism

A

In nuclear power plants uranium under goes a nuclear fission and generates large amounts of heat. This heat makes steam which has high temperatures and high pressure steam that rotates and this generates electricity.

Q

Wind Turbines Mechanism

A

Wind turbines are revolving machines that converts the kinetic energy or wind into mechanical energy. This energy is then converted into electrical energy that is then sent to a power grid.

Q

Solar panels mechanism

A

When sunlight hits the solar panels, photons from the light dislodge electrons from the molecules in the upper layer of the solar panel. These electrons are he source of the electricity that is generated by the panel.

Q

Tidal energy

A

Tidal energy is produced through the use of tidal generators. These are large underwater turbines which have high tidal energy generators, these generators capture the kinetic motion of ocean tides and produce electricity
