How is static electricity created?
A
When two insulated objects are rubbed together they become electrically charged.

When two objects are rubbed together to make static electricity, what happens?
A
Electrons move from one material to the other, The material that loses electrons becomes positively charged, The material that gains electrons becomes negatively charged, Both materials gain an equal amount of charge, but the charges are opposite.

What happens if two items with the same charge come in contact?
A
The two charged objects will repel each other.
