Q

radioulnar joint; proximity

A

Proximal:Uniaxial pivot joint. Head of radius pivots with radio notch of ulna

Pronation and supination, transverse plane vertical axis

Side of the head of the radius, convex. Radial notch, concave. Convex on concave, opposite direction

Pronation: articular surface (medial)slides posteriorly. Opposite end (O) end of bone moves anteriorly.

Supination: articular surface moves anteriorly, opposite side of those posteriorly.

Q

Radioulnar joint; distally

A

Distal: distal end of the radius rotates around the distal end of the ulna.

Ulnar notch of radius. Concave moving on convex. Same direction. Articular surface and lateral surface are moving into your yearly during pronation. Supination; posteriorly
