What are the 3 main coronary arteries?
Right coronary artery (RCA), Left anterior descending (LAD), Left circumflex artery (LCX)
What does reciprocal changes mean?
When there is ST-elevation one anatomical side of the heart, then there can be “reciprocal” ST-depression on the opposite anatomical side of the heart.
Reciprocal Leads:
Inferior: II, III, aVF
&
High Lateral: I, aVL
Anterior: V1, V2, V3, V4 &
Posterior: None
What MI would you suspect with an EKG that shows ST-depression in leads V1, V2, V3, V4?
Posterior MI
What is the lower limit value that would be concerning for QT-shortening for males and females?
<360ms (males)
