They were able to accurately pass on their medical knowledge to other doctors

Bodies were embalmed to prepare them for the afterlife. Certain body parts like the liver were preserved which gave them an understanding of what was inside the body but not how each part of the body worked.

They believed that the body was made up of channels and that if these became blocked it would cause a person to become ill.

Because they had a strong central government that allowed them to build towns and cities where doctors could set up practices

Women often treated them in the home using herbal remedies. For example they used honey to treat wounds as it has an antiseptic quality.
How did technology help them to develop surgery?
He ability to create metal surgical instruments allowed them to do more complicated surgeries than people in prehistoric times.
Why did the Egyptians stop being nomadic?
Because the river Nile allowed them to grow enough food to support themselves and gave them access to a water source meaning they no longer had to move around for resources.
