A. this was important becuase it made healthcare of all types free. prior to this healthcare had to be paid for.

A

K. the education act of 1944.
K. 11+ examinations introduced for the 3 schools.
A. this was important because grammar school fees were removed which helped lower class get better education. All local authorities had to provide primary, secondary and further education.
A+. This was limited because the 11+ exams was helping upper and middle class kids more. still overcrowding from lack of secondary schools as primary schools were focused.

K. housing act 1949 and now towns act 1946.
A.this was important because it got rid of slums. Council rent was 1/3 than before and it also reduced overcrowding.
A+. this was limited becuase the census showed the same level of homelessness as 20 years ago. There was still poor housing and homelessness.

K. by 1946, unemployment was 2.5%.
A. this was important because tax money got invested in industry’s in periods of difficulty. This allowed the nation to recover from WW2.
