Very dangerous - Kett was a strong leader despite not having too great an impact. It was self-governed and very organised

Not dangerous - The Rebellion supported the religious changes at the time. Threat was limited as there was no intention to march to London or overthrow Edward

Fairly dangerous - very widespread and Kett gained 16,000. Support all over country but Privy Council provided strong voice of opposition

Fairly dangerous - Government was weakened by other affairs and rebels were well established. However plan was relatively passive.

Fairly dangerous (indirectly) as there was no foreign support. However preoccupations with foreign countries such as Scotland did leave government preoccupied.

Very dangerous - Government reaction was weak and slow. Rebels enabled to establish their own government and initial reaction was passive (pardons and Northumberland)

Very dangerous - Arundell was a strong leader and good tactician. He was organised and divided the rebels into military groups

Not Dangerous - The main goals were to force the Government into reversing religious reforms. There was no plan to overthrow the monarchy.

Fairly dangerous - By June, the rebellion had increased to 6,000 people and was dangerous. Nonetheless, support was largely localised to the west and lacked nationwide support.

Fairly dangerous - whilst the rebellion was well-thought-out and effective, they had no realistic chance of bringing back Catholicism as this was the opposite of Government goals at the time.

Not Dangerous - There was no foreign support as almost all support was gathered from the West Country. In fact, Italian mercenaries were sued against them.

Fairly dangerous - Reaction time was slow due to preoccupation with religious reforms, foreign matters and economic issues. However eventually the uprising was comprehensively crushed.
