What is an ecosystem?
An ecosystem is the study of the living and non living things in an environment where living things that interact with each other and also with the non living environments they are found in.

Deforestation
the action of clearing a wide area of trees.
What is sustainability?
Long term sustainability is where all members benefit equally from the scheme has maintenance of natural systems and income is shared locally by local people.
Causes of deforestation
Cattle ranching-cattle have low maintenance costs and are highly liquid assets easily.
Palm oil-pollution is caused by the burning of secondary forests across Borneo.
Timber-agricultural clearance or fuelwood collection.
