All living an no living things(Biotic and Abiotic Factors)around an organism is it’s environment.
Adaptation
the action or process of adapting or being adapted
Species
a group of living organisms consisting of similar individuals
Community
a group of living and non-living things ( Biotic and Abiotic ) in the same place or having a similar characteristics in common

Niche
The role or job an animal has to do in the community
Ecosystem
An ecosystem is somewhere were living and non living things interact in there environment
Biome
biomes are regions of the world with similar climates animals and plants
Tundra
The tundra covers about 1/5 of the earth it is known as the cold desert it could reach temperatures of -50 degrees Celsius
Tropical Rainforest
A hot biome near the equator 70-85 degrees F and precipitation up to 400 cm
Grasslands
A Biome with grass but no trees
Taiga
The biggest biome on earth and is hot in the summer and cold in the winter
Desert
The hottest biome with barely any rainfall
Food web
A web of interconnected food chains
Food chain
A chain including a producer a consumer and a decomposer
Omnivore
An organism that eats plants and animals
Carnivore
A organism that only eats meat
Herbivore
An organism that only eats plants
Producer
An organism (plants) that uses the suns energy to make its own food
Consumer
An organism that eats plants and animals in a food web or chain
Decomposer
A decomposer is an organism that eats dead organisms
Predator
An animal that eats another animal
Prey
An animal that gets eaten
Tertiary
Organisms that are at the top of the food chain
10% rule
The level above the level with energy gets 10% of the energy that is in the organism
Energy Pyramid
It is a pyramid that transfers energy through different level consumers
