A large naturally occurring community of flora and fauna occupying a major habitat

A forest that is dominated by trees that lose there leaves every year

An ecosystem that is formed due to the low rainfall it receives each year
Taiga
A boreal forest

A type of biome where tree growth is hindered by low temperatures
Tropical Rainforest
A wet forest. It has a lot of plants and animals
Grassland
A large open area full of grass

Organisms that use the sun’s energy to make their own food
Consumers
Organisms that get energy from eating producers or other consumers

Organisms that consume dead plants and animals

Animals that eat only meat
