BOP (balance of payments) - Zahlungsbilanz
the difference between the amount (Menge) a Country Pays for Imports and the amount it receives for Exports in a particular period of time
BOT (balance of trade) - Handelsbilanz
the difference in value between Imports and Exports (of goods over a particular period)
Budget deficit - Haushaltsdefizit, Budgetdefizit
the amount by which Money that a Government spends or owes is greater than Money received (erhalten) in a particular period of time
Budget Surplus - Haushaltsüberschuss
the amount by which Money that a Government receives is greater than the amount of Money spent in a particular period of time
CPI (consumer Price index) - Verbraucherindex
a list of the Prices of some ordinary goods and Services which Shows how much These Prices Change each month, used to measure the rate of inflation
disponsible income (expandable income) - verfügbares Einkommen
Money left after taxed have been taken away from it and that you are free to spend or save
Exchange rate (rate of Exchange) - Wechselkurs
the relation in value between one currency and another
FDI (foreign direct Investment) - ausländische Direktinvestition
Money that People or companies of one Country invest in other by buying property, Building, factories, buying Business etc.
GDP (gross domestic product) - BIP
the total value of all goods and Services produced by one Country in one year
inflation
a General rise in the Prices of Services and goods in a particular counrty
infrastructure
the Basic Systems and Services that are necessary for a counrty to run smoothly, for example Buildings, Transport and water and power supplies
purchasing power (=spending power) - Kaufkraft
the number of goods and Services that a currency can buy at a particular time
PPP (purchasing power parity) - Kaufkraftparität
the Theory that the rate of Exchange between two currencies adjusts (einstellen) so that eventually the cost of range of goods and Services will be the same in both countries
visible trade - Warenhandel
the selling and buying if goods (i.e. physical Things), not Services, between countries
invisible trade - Dienstleistungshandel
the act of selling and buying Services (e.g. education, Banking, tourism) between countries
