Q

Carbon dioxide and the atmosphere

A

The only thing that removes CO2 from the atmosphere is photosynthesis.
Plants use it to make fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
Birth plants and animals respiration put CO2 back into the atmosphere

Q

Carbon from dead plants and animals

A

Can end up as fossil fuels. When this is combusted/burned it releases carbon.
Some dead plants and animals can be:
-Fertilised
-Composed by microorganism
-Turned into natural fertiliser by humans
