ECG Findings In MI Flashcards
What does ST segment depression in leads V1-V2 indicate?
Acute transmural posterior wall infarct–> get posterior ECG leads V7-9 to asses for ST elevation
What is the vessel blocked in an anterior MI?
LAD
What leads are affected in an inferior wall MI.
II, III, aVF
Which vessel is blocked in an inferior wall MI?
RCA or LCX
Which vessel is blocked in posterior wall MI.
PDA off of RCA which supplies 1/3 off posterior wall
What vessel is involved with ST elevation in leads I & aVL?
LCX
Where are the ST elevations in a lateral wall MI?
Leads I, avL, V5&V6
What vessels are involved in a lateral wall MI?
LCX and diagonal
Where are the ST depressions in a lateral wall MI?
Leads II, III, aVF
Where are the ST elevations in a right ventricle MI?
ST elevation n leads V4-V6
What does ST elevation in leads V1-V4 indicate?
Anterior wall MI involving the LAD
Which 2 vessels cause ST elevation in leads I, aVL, V1-V6?
LAD and LCX
What part of the heart does LCX supply?
Posterolateral wall of the LV
What part of the heart does the LAD supply?
Anterior walls of LV
2/3 of septum
Bundles branches (may see new LBBB)
Apex
What parts of the heart does the RCA supply?
AV node
RV
1/3 posterior wall of heart and inferior wall
