A

Pearse believed in it, blood sacrifice is where they would give up their lives for the good and future of Ireland. Linked to Christ during on the cross.

James Connolly, the military council heard he wanted a rebellion and allowed him to join in on theirs.

A

Leader of the Irish volunteers, they paraded like normal, he was opposed to the idea of a rebellion unless Britain attacked first. The secret military council knew that for the Easter Rising to be a success they needed him.

A

The secret military council showed macneil a forged document stating that the British government planned to disarm the volunteers. It was on Dublin paper.

What happened to the weapons ?

A

Arms and ammunition were about to land in co. Kerry on the aud with Roger casement however the aud was captured by the British Navy in Tralee bay. It was sunk and weapons lost. Casement was captured.
