The second phase of the moon.
In this phase,We can see sunlight reflecting off only one quarter of the moons surface that faces us.
Crescent Moon
The third phase of the moon.In this phase we can see sunlight reflecting of only about half of the moons surface that faces us.
Quarter Moon
The forth phase of the moon.In this phase,we can see the sunlight reflecting three quarters of the surface that faces us. It’s not fully a moon yet but it’s getting there.
Gibbous Moon
The fifth phase of the moon. In this phase we can see sunlight reflecting of ALL of the moon surfers that face us. In this face peers around and completely lit up. In this phase the moon appears ground and completely lit up.

The eight phases of the moon. About 29 and 1/2 days long.
