Explain igneous rocks
A
Most common type of rock is the lithosphere. Formed by cooled magma (beneath the surface of the earth) or lava (on the surface of the earth). Can look like it was pores in them (pumice rock)

Explain extrusive igneous rocks
A
Quickly Formed on Earths surface

Explain intrusive igneous rocks
A
Slowly formed inside the lithosphere. Magma rising from the mantle never reaches earths surface. It ends up cooling very slowly, causing large crystals to form in the rock beneath earths surface.
