In the Paleolithic Age, men and women were socially what? Why?
Close to equal
Hunting success rates were extremely low, and to ensure the tribe didn’t starve, womens gathering effort were essential. However, men were further needed for protection, and when a hunt was succesful, the protein was very valuabe. This lead to an equal balance of importance.
