• medical hospitalisation within the past 2 months
• major surgery within 3 months
• active cancer
• lower-extremity trauma

SSx:

• Calf swelling (3cm more than other calf)
• Swelling of entire leg
• Pain
• Heat
• Swelling of veins (non-varicose)
