Duck says that there is a 5th phase, which is the resurrection stage. this stage comes after the the grave dressing stage and includes the possibility of personal growth following the breakdown. support of this point comes from Tashiro and Frazier who surveyed undergraduates who recently broke up and found that they reported experiencing personal growth
