- Class A: Up to 7 years imprisonment, unlimited fine or both
- Class B: Up to 5 years imprisonment, unlimited fine or both
- Class C: Up to 2 years imprisonment, unlimited fine or both
What are Controlled Drugs?
Substances which are illegal to possess, produce and/or supply under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 without lawful authority
What are Psychoactive Substances?
Substances which produce similar effects as controlled drugs but are not covered by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
E.g. nail polish remover, marker pens, lighter fluid
