Time:

A

> DRIVING; organisations that are able to devote time to implementing the change will help support it as well as the timing of which the change is put into place.
RESTRAINING; orgs. that don’t have the required time for the change can make the process difficult and rushed and problems may arise as well as resistance.

Competitors:

A

> DRIVING; A lack of competition in a market may help support the change OR competition also may set their own change or procedure that other organisations can follow therefore they can also be a support.
RESTRAINING; New competitors may make it difficult to implement a change. Also, if there are too many competitors already an organisation may take it as too risky to change.

A

> DRIVING; changes in legislation may force an organisation to change.
RESTRAINING; laws may make it difficult for an organisation to implement a change this can be a major obstacle as the organisation cannot control laws.

Cost:

A

> DRIVING; After the change, the result of lower costs for the organisation may be present. The change may also be within the budget for an org.
RESTRAINING; the change may incur large costs which could affect the organisation during or after the process of implementation. Or negatively, the change may result in higher expenditure for the org.

A

> DRIVING; the change may result in improved productivity also if the impact on productivity is low during the change it will be supported.
