Q

A

Whilst awake we do not wish to access our unconscious mind, it is associated with negative emotions and is blocked out by our ego. When asleep our ego drops and our unconscious mind is accessed while dreaming

Problem solving theory

A

Dreams have a purpose and help us solve problems. It states that our dreams do not have a hidden meaning and we don’t have to pay attention to our dreams as they automatically deal with our problems. “Sleep on it” saying comes from.
