Saber and conocer meaning
They both mean to know
Saber- to know a fact or information and how to do something
Conocer- to know or be familiar/ aquented with a person, place, or a thing.
Conocer tenses
Yo- conozco (zco ending in yo form) tu- conoces el/ella/usted- conoce nosotros- conocemos ellos/ellas/ustedes- conocen
saber tenses
yo- sé tu- sabes el/ella/usted-sabe nosotros-sabemos ellos/ellas/ustedes-saben
Comparatives
means to compare any two things, groups, people, situations, ideas, etc.
uses: Más or menos
How are comparatives written
Subject- Mis ojos verb (any present or preterite)- son Más or menos- más Adjective, adverb or noun- grandes Que (never changes)- que noun phrase- tus ojos
Superlative
means to compare one thing, idea, situation, etc. to a GROUP
uses: él/la/los/las más or menos
How are superlatives written
Subject- Este examen
Verb (any present or preterite)- es
el/la/los/las más or menos (never changes)-el más
adjective, adverb- fácil
de (never changes)- de
noun phrase (aka group compared to)- todos
Absolute Superlative
means extremely good or very good.
add isimo to the ending of any word
ex; muy bueno changes to buenisimo
Absolute Superlative rules
when there is a vowel in the word you drop it (a,e i,o,u)
when there is a N or R ending you chnage the ending from isimo to cisimo
words ending in co like rico you change the ending to qu (riquisimo)
words ending in go like largo, you change ending to gu (larguisimo)
