What happens when blood enters the heart
It is deoxygenated
Where is blood pumped after entering the heart
Into the lungs to pick up oxygen

Travels back into the heart
What does the blood do once it has been pumped back into the heart
It gets pumped out and around the body so every cell in the body gets its vital oxygen. So every cell can carry out respiration
The blood flowing through the right side of the heart and going to the lungs is called
PULMONARY CIRCULATION
The blood flowing through the left side of the heart and going around the body is called
SYSTEMIC CIRCULATION
Where does the circulatory system send oxygen
To the lungs to every cell in the body
Where does the circulatory system carry carbon dioxide around
From cells in the body back to the lungs
Where does the circulatory system send waste too
From the liver to the kidney
Where does the circulatory system send digested food
It sends e,g glucose , amino acids from the small intestine to every cell in the body.
Where does the circulatory system carry around heat
Heat from liver and muscles to every cell in the body.
Where does the circulatory system carry around hormones
Communicate between cells in the body
