Indications
A
- Hypotension resulting from significant bradycardia or shock (in the absence of hypovolemia)
Note: use in patients with shock have been associated with greater risk of adverse effects, including an increased 28-day mortality

- Hypovolemic shock

Dosing for Hemodynamics or Inotropic Support
A
2 - 20 mcg/kg/min infusion, with titration 5 - 10 mcg/kg/min increments until desired effect achieved

5 - 10 mcg/kg/min with titration to effect

Dosing for Unstable Bradycardia (refractory to Atropine)

2 - 20 mcg/kg/min infusion, with titration to effect
