Doctrine 7
We believe that repentance toward
God, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ,
and regeneration by the Holy Spirit
are necessary to salvation.
Doctrine 8
We believe that we are justified by
grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus
Christ; and that he that believeth
hath the witness in himself.

Explain ‘justification” thoroughly as a legal term. (2)
1) Describing the sentence of the Judge in
favor of the condemned, clearing them of
all blame and freeing them of every
charge.

thereby pronouncing the verdict of “not
