Q

Negatives , 4

A

-Dockworkers did not benefit as the 10,000 new jobs created were for highly skilled workers/outsiders rather than low skilled such as themselves , outsiders did not mix with “EastEnders”

-local council did not benefit as money was all spent on redevelopment instead of local services

-new homes did not benefit locals as they were too expensive , breaking apart a closely knitted community

-LDDC was criticised for not consulting the community and focusing on the private sector
