A section of a chromosome. Contains a separate piece of genetic information.

DeoxyriboNucleic Acid. Carries the code that controls the structure and function of the cell. Chromosomes and Genes are made of DNA.

A
Each amino acid is coded for its own special sequence of three bases called Codon.

A
The substance that carries a complementary copy of a gene from the DNA in the nucleus to the ribosomes in the cytoplasm.
