Therefore we are left with moral relativism.
Defending DCT
Bible gives examples of immoral acts being made right by god’s command.
Conforming to the will of God is seen as the most important aspect of spirituality.
Since God created us we must live in accordance to his will.
Weaknesses in DCT
It gives outcomes that are against intuition.
It not always clear what gods commands are in the bible.
There are ethical dilemmas which the bible seems to have no guidance for.
James Rachels says it is unacceptable for religious belief to involve unqualified obedience to God.
