Salivary Glands - produce amylase enzyme in saliva

Liver - bile produced . Neutralises stomach acid and emulsifies fats
gallbladder -where bile stored. Released into small intestine
Stomach - pummels food with muscular walls, produces protease enzyme, pepsin, produces hydrochloride acid to kill bacteria and give right PH for protease enzyme to work
Small intestine - produces protease,amylase and lipase enzymes to complete digestion. Digested food is absorbed out of digestive system into blood
Pancreas - produces protease, amylase and lipase and release into small intestine
Large intestine - excess water absorbed
Rectum- stores mainly indigestible food
