If there is a lack of diversity organisations may struggle to adapt to an increasing multi-cultural world
It can hinder the ability to attract top-tier talent
What is diversity
Human beings are all diverse from the colour of your skin to education, some aspects of diversity are clearly visible whilst others are less obvious
What is inclusion
It is part of a work places culture and it is a choice to include or exclude people from conversations, events or projects. Important to make people comfortable in the work place
Equity vs equality
Equity is recognising that not all people have been given an equal chance and provides additional support to those who need it
Equality is the same for all

One that can be accessed and used safely for everyone, one that does not physically or socially segregate or discriminate or isolate and is well designed, functional, efficient and sustainable

Seeks to create buildings that welcome everyone, regardless of age, gender, disability, religion etc. Considering the needs of people with physical, cognitive and sensory impairments.
