Destination alternate domestic
A destination alternate is always required unless, 123 rule applies.
Flag destination alternate
Silver is granted OpSpec A012 which allows Domestic Operations to certain airports outside the contiguous United States. These airport are listed on A012. (Which means domestic destination alternate rule applies)
For airports not listed in A012 , a destination alternate is required unless;

Supplemental destination alternate
A destination alternate is always required. However, if the flight is operated between two C070 airports, you don’t need an alternate if the 123 rule applies for domestic. The same applies for international supplemental flights, if airports are in the C070 airports, the flag destination alternate rule applies.
Takeoff Alternate
- Takeoff alternate is required if the weather conditions at the time of for departure airport are below authorized landing minimums for the appropriate runway.
- The airport must be no more than 1hr from the departure airport at normal cruising speed in still air with one engine inoperative and must meet the minimums prescribed in OpSpec C055 for alternate airports.
-Silver uses the distances in the table below as the equivalent of 1hr from the departure airport;
