A
- Adult form of Rickets
- Osteoid not adequately mineralized
- Newly formed Haversian Systems are weaker
- Due to inadequate Ca, pregnancy and lactation

- Condition in which amount of bone matrix per unit volume is reduced
- Increased porosity
- Diaphyses’ compact bone becomes thinner

Abnormally large amounts of bone matrix ; Brittle and easily fractured
