A

Arrows all go in one direction, too simplistic?
There is no lexical level, it assumes we know words because they are patterns of lexical representation

Lack of invariance problem

A

When acoustic information comes in it is all different e,g, different accents. We have to break down the information and build it up again ourselves so we can understand it.
