1) Outer zona glomerulosa - produces ALDOSTERONE
2) Zona fasiculata - produces CORTISOL
3) Inner zona reticularis - produces ANDROGENS

What is CAH? and what does it do?

A

• Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. = A group of genetic conditions limiting hormone production in the adrenal glands.

Treatment for hypo-cortisol

A

Hydrocortisone replaces cortisol.
- Bigger dose durnig the morning, smaller dose in the day and nothing after 6.
Fludrocortisone replaces aldosterone
