Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome
AIDS
Group of clinical signs and symptoms associated with the suppression of the immune system and marked by opportunistic infections secondary neoplasm and neurological problem
Kaposi sarcoma
A cancer arising from the lining cells of capillaries that produces dark-purpilish skin nodules
Wasting syndrome
Weight loss and decrease in muscular strength, appetite, and mental activity
Thymoma
Associated with myasthenia Gravis. Tumors of the thymus.
Atopic dermititis
Inflammation of skin that tend to occur in patients with a family history of allergic reaction
Atopy
Intense allergic reaction influenced by hereditary tendencies or predisposition
Lymphangitis
Inflammation of lymph vessels
Lymphedema
Abnormal collection of fluid in tissue spaces caused by obstruction of lymph vessels and backflow of lymph
Lymphoma
Malignant tumors of lymph nodes and lymphatic tissue
Kawasaki disease (mucocutaneou lymph node disorder)
It is an acute febrile disease found mostly in children and causes cervical lymphadenopathy.
Hodgkins lymphoma
Malignant tumor of lymphoid tissue in spkeen lymph node; Reed-Sternberg cells are often on microscopic analysis
Non- Hodgkins lymphomas
Group of malignant tumours involving lymphoid tissue . Examples are follicular lymphoma and large cell lymphoma
Severe combined immunodeficiency disease
Condition present at birthmarks by a deficiency of B cell and T cells resulting in lack of immunity
Scleroderma
Chronic progressive disease of the skin and internal organs with hardening and shrinking of connective tissue
Organ rejection
when theorganrecipient’s immune system recognizes the donororganas foreign and attempts to eliminate it. It often occurs when your immune system detects things like bacteria or a virus
