Key responsibilities of the disclosure manager?
A
- Ensure all relevant and discoverable material disclosed
- Ensure all relevant and non-discoverable material is identified, listed and defence advised.
- continually assess the risk and ensure non-discoverable is not disclosed.
- continually review withholding reasons to ensure lawful.
- ensure auditable systems used to record disclosure decisions
- manage time frames
- Retain all correspondence with defenceman
- create disclosure records and delivery details in NIA.

Where defence counsel is replaced, what is Police obligation?
A
To ensure replacement is provided all disclosure.
Can be achieved either:
Written confirmation for new counsel that they received all material previously disclosed
Providing fresh copy of all disclosure
